Finca Rosa Blanca
When visiting Costa Rica there are a myriad of experiences one has to choose from. The Finca Rosa Blanca Hotel Coffee Plantation and Resort, offers one of those experiences in and of itself.
The hotel has been awarded by the Costa Rican Tourist Board for compliance with the Certification for Sustainable Tourism, with the maximum of 5 Leaves and cultivates all things sustainable , from organically grown coffee to the organically grown foods used in their restaurant El Tigre Vestido.
Home to Artistry
This gorgeously artistic hotel is located in the small town of Santa Barbara de Heredia, also home of Laurel’s Originals art studio. We have had the honor of working with the Finca Rosa Blanca Hotel on many projects providing hand painted canvas rugs and canvas place mats for their restaurant.
Hand painted tiles made by local artists provide signage on the wall outside the entrance to the hotel. As you enter the open reception area the beautiful hard wood floor sport a Mexican tile canvas rug located in the sitting area.

Many nooks and crannies provide private areas for “hanging out” one of the requisite activities of vacationing in Costa Rica. One such corner is in the Bujo Bar where a cozy setting around a fireplace provides a relaxing environment any time of the day.
Every room features hand painted murals depicting Costa Rica, its animals, birds, plants and the coffee plantations. There are no square rooms! Even the sweep of the walls and shapes of the windows are an artistic expression.
Canvas Rugs in Every Room
Laurel’s Originals has created many canvas rugs for the rooms of the Finca Rosa Blanca Hotel.
Our fern leaf print graces nearly every room next to the luxurious beds. The newest suite named El Cielo, which means sky or heaven, (for its heavenly view?) has a separate sitting room featuring the Plant Life canvas rug.

As I was installing the rug, I was so impressed with the owners, Teri and Glenn Jampol’s attention to every detail of the room. They roamed about as if they were guests, moving a chair here, positioning a table there. Their attention to detail in every aspect of the Finca Rosa Blanca Hotel is what makes this destination so special.
With the impeccable food, courtesy of the employees who make every moment of your stay relaxed, the beauty of the surrounding area carefully attended to, and the artistry in every corner as well as their responsibility to the environment and the community it is no wonder Finca Rosa Blanca Hotel is
